HON.PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA RECEVEIVES THE WB DELEGATION

President Kenyatta: "This evening(yesterday) I led the Kenyan delegation in bilateral talks with the World Bank President Dr. Jim Yong Kim and the UN Secretaty General Ban Ki-moon at State House, Nairobi. I welcomed the $8.3 billion support for peace and development in the Horn of Africa region pledged by the United Nations, the World Bank, Africa Development Bank and other development partners. The visit by the leaders of the United Nations, World Bank and other institutions to understand the peace and development conditions on the ground is a strong proof of their renewed cooperation with the Horn of Africa countries".
