Deputy Executive Secretary for Economic Commission for Africa(ECA)
Mr.Abdallah Hamdok welcomes Tanzania’s Deputy Minister for Finance and
planning Dr. Ashatu Kijaji at ECA headquarters in Addis Ababa Ethiopia
this evening for a briefing session prior to the commencement of ECA
Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic
Development due to take place tomorrow(4th April 2016)
The Deputy Minister who arrived in
Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa this morning is expected to chair the
opening session of the conference with the theme” Towards an Integrated
and Coherent Approach to Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of
Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals S DGs”.
The Ministers’ conference was
preceded by a two days ninth Joint Annual Meetings of the African Union
Specialized Technical Committee on Finance , Monetary Affairs, Economic
planning and Integration.
