DREAMS INITIATIVES PROVIDES SAFE SPACE FOR ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN SHINYANGA AIMING AT PREVENTION OF RISKY HIV BEHAVIORS

 Out-of-school adolescent girls Swaum Mohamed (19) (left) and Rachael Charles (19) (right) using computers with tailored programs on prevention of risky HIV behaviors at a safe space run by Shinyanga-based civil society organization called Rafiki SDO  as part of the DREAMS Initiative package rolled out by Jhpiego's Sauti Project.  The DREAMS Initiative in Tanzania is funded by the US Government through PEPFAR and aims to create determined, resilient, empowered, AIDS-free, mentored and safe young women to live healthier lives and achieve their dreams
 Richard Minyako, a Data Manager at Shinyanga-based civil society organization called Rafiki SDO orienting an out of school adolescent girl, Zubeda Said, on how to use a special computer with tailored programs on prevention of risky HIV behaviors as part of the DREAMS Initiative safe space activities rolled out by Jhpiego's Sauti Project.  The DREAMS Initiative in Tanzania is funded by the US Government through PEPFAR and aims to create determined, resilient, empowered, AIDS-free, mentored and safe young women to live healthier lives and achieve their dreams.
